hi sir i am working with xaar 128 ...by studying data sheet i din't get any information about how to control each nozzle .........wt r the control pins to control the nozzleWonko wrote:Well, since we all have spent so much time on stupid print heads, I have decided to reverse engineer the protocol of an industrial printhead. Sure, it's 200 Euros for a single head in a single color at only 200 dpi, but these babies are industrial strength, giving them supposedly a much longer life span and the ability to print solvents via piezzo, and hopefully UV resin as well.
To make a long story short: yes, I made it work. I can control each and every nozzle at full speed with an off-the-shelf Arduino and close to zero additional parts. Yay!

Hello! The code I used, written by Kyle, you can download it from the link https://github.com/gkyle/xaar128. But this code is under the charge I used to be a bit to adapt. As I have shown on the forum. If you intend to use Xaar128 print, this code must also be adapted. The fact that the head prints on the basis of the state table of nozzles recorded in the Image file. This table is static and the head will print the same thing without end. If you need I can change the code so that the Arduino reads the new evidence and sent them to the print head. For this, you will remove the program link to use the file with table Image and change the sending of data to the file Xaar128.cpp.

That is, code which gave Kyle fit for the tests, print the code you want to modify. If necessary I can do it.

that is fine ...wt is the printing speed of the print head so that we run motor...in data sheet typical firing frequency means
