Show off the great Laser Pistol you made here. Got a better laser, got sound effects, got it to actually vaporize a target? I’d love to see it.

Okay so first : Thank you for this amazing design

It’s difficult to make but So proud one’s you make one

    Here’s a picture of mine :

    Fallout Laser Pistol

It was one of my first 3d print, around 2 weeks to make, print with a Solidoodle 3 and a resolution of 0.2mm

And Now I’m trying to upgrade my laser pistol with some electronics in

And I have a big question which can save my life : for your laser pistol, Which button did you use behind the trigger ? I got a set of little button but it’s to small to fit your design

    Thanks again for this !

I used a switch like this (sorry, dutch site) http://www.eoo-bv.nl/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=1964

It is a tumbler switch that springs back. This is what I have for a trigger switch. There is also an additional spring behind the trigger to push the mechanical (printed) part of the trigger back.

I did it a little bit different. i used a Tactswitch with a long stem behind the trigger and placed a spring over the stem to make it go back.
i found that the tact switch was the same width as the trigger, i don’t have any part numbers i used stuff i have laying on my bench.
closest would be this switch http://www.taydaelectronics.com/tact-switch-6x6mm-11mm-through-hole-spst-no.html.
i might be able to make some pictures of how i did it
