dragonator,
Yes, it is like a zig zag, but it is more visible with a naked eye. Head is really perpendicular to the axis. I spent a lot of time aligning everything explicitly. I will test some more later and see how that goes.
Apart from that, what are your plans with HP45 and further work? Do you ...

Re: Standalone controller V4.0
dragonator,
I tried to run some printing tests with Oasis Controller and V4 driver, but I observe some shifting of swipes... If you look closely, you might see uneven edges in a trendy pattern. The only thing I changed in firmware was that pin swap I mentioned earlier, but everything else is the ...

Re: Hacking the HP45
dragonator,
I changed controller to V4 and it seems that initially vertical lines are not present anymore. However, conditions were not identical: some steppers were disconnected and not all devices attached (power conditions might not have been identical), so it might need some more testing, but ...

Re: Hacking the HP45
So do I understand correctly, that I can run old Oasis control software with new controller board (including head movement)? Would it make sense to try in the first place?

Re: Hacking the HP45
I really did not change anything. I double checked that and only things I changed were "setup" based, i.e. like build piston position, feeder piston position and speeds etc. No significant changes were made. Moreover, regarding teensy code, I barely changed anything as far as I remember.

dragonator,
I finally managed to run software on PC instead of RPI. I executed the same python file that was used on RPI, so no changes to software compared to both versions.
However, PC still produces vertical lines. Here is the log for one specific print and here is the image of this outcome. It ...

I am sending you text file with terminal output/log. Also here is the image of what was the typical output. Log consists of two prints of this image, but image is only one as they are similar, but not identical. This image always fails to print during the second swipe, so it prints just ...

Re: Hacking the HP45
dragonator,
I have some questions regarding printing with HP45 using controller version V3.02. Recently I did some tests with regular image printing (not SVG) and I noticed some weird, incorrectly sprayed vertical lines of ink. Here are the images:

Re: Standalone controller V4.0
dragonator,
it appears that voltage could have been an issue (11.5V instead of 12V). Yesterday I solved PSU problem, voltage got back to around ~12V and situation improved significantly. I still did not print, but priming and some basic image printing seems to be better although some nozzles ...
