Re: Hacking the HP45

Bit out of topic but maybe helpful for some of you. If you plan to use td62783apg or similar chip for building driver be aware that parameters for it are different than those mentioned by @dragonator. I think its related to long on-off times of this IC (I am not 100% sure since I don't have real os...

Re: Standalone controller V4.0

I do not know precisely what it is, but I do know what circuit is causing it and what might be the issue. HP45 has 2 internal resistors. TSR and 10X. Both V4 an V3 use the same 330 ohm resistor feeding the 2 pins on the HP45 to make a voltage divider. On the V3.02 it should be R11 and R12. The cont...

Re: Standalone controller V4.0

Hi!

Maybe it's a better solution ST L6452 cause of head temperature control. however there are both lack of adaptive voltage supply.

Re: Hacking the HP45

Hi The attached picture is took from HP DJ9xx printer, which there are functions for components. DIY users might find print-heads would be easily broken. HP would turn print-head module power supply off as non-printing, it's not always turn-on. Used, HP would check printhead connecting by current se...

Re: Hacking the HP45

I still want to really try the L6452. I do however still have a few objections with the L6452 that have stopped me from completely stopping what I am doing so far and use the L6452. Limited availability. Only Mouser sells them in small quantities and I don't know if they restock. Unknowns in the da...

Re: New project powder 3D printer ZEUS

Hi myying can use the type of film strip to move the portal but need a reliable encoder to move the carriage it is difficult to protect the place where the carriage with heads moves Hi MAsic12345 You could find encoder from any HP MFP, printer, or reach to Broadcom sales. (Broadcom merged HP's IC c...

Re: New project powder 3D printer ZEUS

Hi dragonator Rummaged yesterday in the intern and found good encoders with a different class of accuracy based on magnetic tape yes they are used in machine tools and they have good protection https://www.rls.si/en/products/linear-magnetic-encoders/incremental-encoders x5KxpLtxk58 dragonator I wil...
