I have a booster from 24V to 25...35V 3A max. But the head draws a very small current. Max 5W I suppose.

I may advise to use a supply with adjustable output. My setup works best at 26...28V. If I raise the voltage I have too much satellite drops. Best voltage depends of ink viscosity. I use a cheap 3A booster from ebay. It seems it's stable enough. It's not quite rocket science. For me the hardest part was to build the mechanical capping. It works good now, I use the same printhead since february and it have all nozzles firing ok.

Hi, It's normal to uave a short between GND's. I have a full working set I build and I have a single 24V supply. 24 goes to motor drivers, to a 7805 stabilizer and to a booster for head voltage. Don't use 36V, I use only 29...30V instead of 35. In fact, adjust the voltage according to the ink viscos...

First damper had some leak but as long as tbe head was softly wiped printed ok.

I use a 74HCT574 powered at 5v. Its inputs can be driven at 3V3 and because it is powered at 5V it will output 5V. It's not the most correct way but for me works very well.

I really have no ideea and they don't explain this in datasheet. I understand from datasheet that the non wetting models are harder to care because of the nozzle plate coating. They can't be wiped in fact you can never touch the nozzle plate because the coating will be damaged.

Hi, This is my setup. You can see the damper above the head, the capping station I built (with a silicone band gasket and peristaltic pump), the reservoir and of course a print sample. The sample print is 8 times overprint microweaved. My head has a full blocked nozzle and many nozzles are deflectin...

I know. I made the same mistakes and assumptions and lost two printheads by running water and aqueous ink. The irony is for me solvent ink was exactly what I needed. And it never clogs...

I use INX TRIANGLE MLD solvent inks. They dry slow so no risk of nozzle clogging. For capping you can make your own gasket from silicone rubber. My ink won't react with sillicones
