Re: The T60 power armor
But can you imagine how tedious that movie would have been if Tony Stark would engineer it at a normal pace. The Iron man suit would have taken years to even get a prototype.

Re: The T60 power armor
Time for renders, the design for the legs is mostly done. All final changes will either come when I have printed up the design (like they always do) or when the changes will be made when I am making it. A quick overview of the design that is currently defined. In the armor you can see a mockup of me...

Re: The T60 power armor
The flue season is an amazing thing isn't it?
When we reach July 21, do I need to check every now and then to make sure you're still alive? Have you informed friends and family so they won't worry too much?

Re: The T60 power armor
Quick recap of the month of March (and some of April). Flu, sick, sick, flu, sick, unmotivated. The past month has been me doing almost nothing at all (hence the silence). I am finally feeling better, and I have been slowly picking up where I left. I will start with the power armor for several reaso...

Re: Pause Function
The firmware of plan B is not in particular based on any previous firmware. Therefore, there is not something that can be easily added to add a pause function to the firmware. When writing the firmware, I tried to add a pause function. It would perfectly pause a print, but resuming it was impossible...

Re: EPSON TM-C600/TM-C610
I did some looking up, but in Europe I cannot find them. That looks really great! All of the inkjet is already there for a powder printer. All you need now is a powder handling system and you have a piezo inkjet powder printer. Are the inks easy to swap out or are there difficult cartridges that nee...

Re: Hacking the HP45
I ordered 26 pins flat cable with headers to connect with the printhead. I had too few male to female jumper wires, but I have plenty of male to male wires. Also, I can now start on making a test circuit on a prototype board (once I know enough from testing on a breadboard). For the final controller...

Re: EPSON TM-C600/TM-C610
That is wicked fast. Can it handle water based inks? In my knowledge not all piezo inkjets can handle conductive fluids. If it can, it is an amazing find. The flush head should make it a breeze to convert it into a powder printer. You said that they are easy to come by in the US? I cannot find them ...

Re: The T60 power armor
Does this rubber cement also work on wood, or did you only try it on metal. The spray glue I use can be used on one side of the to be glued pieces to get a reusable stickiness or on both sides to get a permanent stick. I hope that if I use it on the paper side, the glue will mostly stay on the paper...

Re: The T60 power armor
This project is afoot (get it?) I worked on the power armor this weekend. The goal was to cut, assemble and test the feet. The mechanisms in the feet will come later. The foot of the armor is a 25(ish)cm thick block under my foot. It houses the foot autolatch and the locking pin that connects it to ...
