Re: NC connected instead of NO in demux circuit
The circuit board you are using is a fairly old design, so I do not know everything about it anymore. The board is in your photo not connected to the 12V and safety correct? I will assume that everything else is working on the board you are using, and that for some reason the input is inverted. We c...

Re: NC connected instead of NO in demux circuit
I cannot judge what relay you are using right now. Simply connecting the relay with wires to the board and swapping NO and NC should fix the issue you are having. Now that you are approved you should be able to add image (or within 3 posts, I forgot what the forum was set to)

Re: Hacking the HP45
Any recommendations for chip that may also work and is more robust? In my case I want to drive 2-4 nozzles so i need like 5 output lines max. Also bonus points for DIP package availability. Thanks for the information. This is incredibly valuable knowledge. Sad to hear it cost 2 printheads. I have h...

Re: Hacking the HP45
Hello, when i test nozzles , at the middle of 2 side there is no ink. İ replaced cardridge but same result. any idea about what is the problem which i control first. The pattern of nozzles you are missing indicate that a full primitive on each side has either failed, or is not connected to the prin...

Re: Hacking the HP45
And i also i need your another help about hp45 nozzle array. Cardridge has 2 column with 150 point each. i want to learn sequence from 1 to 150 each. i mean left top to bottom each hole equals to primitive x address. That is actually quite simple. The odd primitives are on one side, and the even pr...

Re: Hacking the HP45
Aux pins are used to control external hardware. On V4 there are for instance 9 pins broken out for trigger signals, encoders and such. To do anything with these pins the firmware does need to be made to handle them. I do not know how much earlier versions of the firmware did with them.

Re: Standalone controller V4.0
Hello,
It is not a sin to ask the question here. There is a quite a bit of information spread over a lot pages, so it is a bit difficult to find specific details.
If you have any more specific questions feel free to ask.

Re: Hacking the HP45
There is now a proper guide on how to refill the HP45 printhead. It can be found here: https://ytec3d.com/refilling-hp45-printheads/
If there are any pointers or questions let me know and I will add them.

The easiest files I have are the STEP files, available here: https://ytec3d.com/downloads/
Upon request I can send the Solidworks files, but they are 2012, and made in a student version, so not actually that great to use.

Re: Standalone controller V4.0
The first example is now live. I have turned it into a bit of a project on it's own, an SMD tape printer.

If there is any feedback on information missing or things that are unclear let me know so I can update the page.
