Re: Hacking the HP45
I am not really sure how it does identify the printhead. I know there is a bunch of resistors in the head that measure different depending on the polarity, but I have not had a deep investigation in how this is used to identify the printheads.

Re: First Layer Issue
It has happened to me as well. Increasing the layer height or decreasing the amount of ink ejected can help. The rolling spreader helped much, but Plan B does not really fit one very well.

Re: Empiric 3000 3DP printer
I first thought it was a ballmill. It looks like a great mixer. I like the usage of random parts and controllers to make it.

Re: Empiric 3000 3DP printer
That was an amazing write-up. You can certainly see the Oasis legacy with a lot of improvements. You can see that you put a lot of work in designing and building this. I like how robust the pistons look. This is a weak spot on my current Oasis. You have a resin printer? I see FDM parts, but the prin...

Re: Standalone controller V4.0
I am more than willing to provide PCBs. The schematic is on the HP45 controller page. The BOM is already share on the PCB assembly page. Most component should still be available. There is sadly one exception, and that is the voltage regulator chip LMR36510. This chip will not be in stock until Decem...

Re: Standalone controller V4.0
No PCB source files for now. Since I do intend to sell the boards, I do not want to be instantly copied. The files will probably be share at some point in the future. The V4 can run without an encoder. You can tell it how fast it is moving and then give a trigger to start moving. I do hope to add a ...

Re: Standalone controller V4.0
Pages are progressing nicely. I am still looking at adding a description of the software, some examples, and then just flesh out everything. https://ytec3d.com/hp45-controller-v4/ https://ytec3d.com/hp45-inkjet-printhead/ https://ytec3d.com/hp45-controller-commands/ https://ytec3d.com/hp45-controlle...

Re: Standalone controller V4.0
I was going to finish this first, but I suppose it is more useful if I keep it open. I have been working on the pages for the V4 HP45 controller. Right now I have 2 pages: https://ytec3d.com/hp45-controller-v4/ https://ytec3d.com/hp45-controller-commands/ This is the main page and the explanation of...

Re: Standalone controller V4.0
Good to hear progress from your side. I am curious to see what materials you will be testing and how well they might work. Any special materials you have good feelings about?
