Isn't there a way that people can just reorder the board if it's from osh park? I'd like to order from osh park because I love their PCBs and I know someone there.evomotors wrote:HP45 Controller V1.01 comes in purple too

Re: Hacking the HP45
That's very interesting. How did you find that out, by cutting one open? I'm still curious how you change the ink out and clean it.evomotors wrote:HP45 is hollow and does not have sponge.

Oh? How do you plan to clean them? The last time I tried cleaning the hp tij 1.0 based heads, I had to take a hack saw to it and open it up to totally clean the sponge out.
I'm also very curious about your continuous ink system.

Re: Hacking the HP45
Has anyone found individual CMY cartridges fitting this form factor and pinout? The only thing I've been able to find so far has been the larger one with all 3 integrated together.

Re: Hacking the HP45
It looks pretty good! Can you upload the teensy code so I can take a look at it? If each burst in the video is 300,000 drops, then that's an interesting speed to be firing at. That's a little over 42 mm if my math is correct. How closely does that align with the maximum printing speed if you don't a...

Re: Hacking the HP45
If you can help me get a working assembled board to test, I can definitely help on the code side. I haven't even gotten ink out yet though.

Re: Hacking the HP45
I like the idea of the analog maximum pulse width. Do you have any way of lengthening or shortening it in the future to modify it? Hi pulse width is a constant, there is no need to change it during a process, but if you mean change it in next version of driver, I can say YES. By changing a simple r...

Re: Hacking the HP45
I unfortunately don't understand as much about the electronics side of this and why you are having trouble with various parts of the circuit. I'm currently looking at building another 3d printer with an inkjet head and would like to upgrade from 96 dpi to 600 dpi. :) I can have boards made and solde...
