Re: Standalone controller V4.0
Have you ever had the V3 working? or is this one still unused as a unit? What software are you using to drive the controllers? The V3 needs to have a jumper connected to connect the 12V to the VHD. The V4 has this one connected by default. The prime function should work on both units, so this is a d...

Re: working on slicer in blender
Probably not without massive alterations. The Teensy 3.2 has a DMA and 32 I/O pins. The Teensy 2.0 8 bit, only 16Mhz, has 25 I/O pins and no DMA. The latest version of the firmware needs DMA to work. The 2.0 is already not drop in compatible with the 3.2. I assume you want to use it together with th...

Re: Hacking the HP45
What I do is determine when to change the pattern I am printing based on position, but the distance between each drop based on frequency. If I am moving at 25mm/s, I will be spitting out 600 drops of ink per second per nozzle, but if I am moving at 50mm/s I will spit out 1200 drops per nozzle per se...

Re: working on slicer in blender
Oasis controller is and has always been a temporary tool to control the Oasis printer. It is not that refined, and is very sub optimal. It is the typical temporary solution that became permanent. 1. That really depends on what we want to do here. Do you want your files to be printed using Oasis cont...

Re: Hacking the HP45
I had spent many days figuring out encoder pulses with the spitting of an inkjet printer. but I cannot succeed. anyone can tell me the formula or a method of controlling printer spitting with encoder. i am using 2500p/r encoder. I have made a firing function. how to fire with respect to encoder pul...

Re: working on slicer in blender
You might need a fifth printhead for clear binder, or make the K (black) by combining CMY. From what I heard this actually works well enough to get good black. It is possible to chain 4 controllers together. Each controller is a separate piece of hardware that can run on its own. The encoder signal ...

Looking great. It is one of the more complex prints on this site, so I'd say kudos for already getting this far. Cannot wait to see it move.

Re: working on slicer in blender
Hello, What type of printers are you aiming at writing a slicer for? Depending on the answer it really changes what the output should be. If you are trying full color on FDM like machines you want a different format from 3DP type machines. Since I mostly deal with 3DP and dislike complex standards, ...

If you are interested I have assembled and tested HP45 controllers available in small numbers. With carrier they are in the €250 range, without the carrier in the €220 range. Contact me through the contact form if you are interested so we can discuss further. (https://ytec3d.com/contact-me/)

Re: Layer skipping of Plan B printing
Hello, I read both your files. Gcode was fairly clean and did contain the correct number of layers. Why it only prints 6 is a bit of a mystery. The PlanB code is a bit of a mess. It only starts at 5mm, so the first 30 layers are missing on that side of the code. Also it toggles the same nozzle a doz...
