Re: Hacking the HP45
When I am a bit further with the code (I am currently working on it) It should be able to print Barcodes and QR codes. Characters is even easier, as it could already do something like it. How to implement both is a bit above me right now, but it might even be doable on the microcontroller level at l...

Re: Hacking the HP45
Might as well finish the template instead of procrastinate and do it somewhere in 3 months. http://ytec3d.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/HP45-controller-V1.01-templates-20170107.zip The new templates are Poka yoke, which means that you can only properly use them one way. I had to look up in the sour...

Re: Hacking the HP45
Is there actually anyone right now who is in the process of ordering or are there just 4 people who want some if someone else is ordering? Anyway, I finally got around making something that I planned on making for 3 months now. An assembly guide to the HP45 controller. I am working on the controller...

Same here. If there is a benefit to buy more, put me in for 2-3 units (more if required).

Re: Hacking the HP45
Hello and welcome The connector link has plenty of nice parts, though I wonder if any of it is available to ordinary consumers in normal quantities. I do like that I can see the carrier. I can see if I can replicate it. I am very curious about getting a pen controller (C8855M) in the future. I now h...

Re: Oasis 3DP printer
The previous post was simply me stepping each motor manually to show everything is wired up correctly. Now there is actual movement based on calculations. Making this work took a while because I need this to be good enough for the final printer (mostly), but I am now there. vEq-YWAYf7Q The video sho...

Re: Oasis 3DP printer
A small "I am still alive" update: msuZHvxerhA I am still alive. A combination of sick, really busy and several other projects kept me from doing any more than keeping the forum up to date. (side-note, the me monitoring new users has eliminated all spam, I usually check twice a day for pen...

Re: Hacking the HP45
The lack of write-up is also bothering me a little bit, but I am absolutely buried in work right now and have most of my little free time on Oasis. Don't expect it for at least a couple more weeks. Around Christmas I have some free time. Around that time I should be able to make the first draft of t...

Re: Oasis 3DP printer
Yeah... no.
Controller will be done by the end of this week, but it also needs to be wired. The firmware is a job of at least 2 months. I expect the first real movement with ink to be December 2016 or January 2017. I am horribly busy right now.
