Re: Making a Pip Boy 3000

I don't know about any general tips I could give. If you do run into trouble do feel free to ask. What kind of printer are you using?

Re: Monster hunter statue

One of the only printers I know of that can handle these impossible kinds of overhangs. The UP! plus (all UP! printers do amazing work with overhang). They only print ABS, but that they print amazing.

Re: Hacking the HP45

At this very moment I am working on the controller. I hope to have an "all nozzles are on" before the end of this weekend. After that I will share the PCB and the stl. I first want to be sure this thing actually works. For instance I had some issues with the carrier not alighting properly....

Re: Hacking the HP45

I have to order basically all important parts before I can ship out working HP45 controllers, but as soon as this thing is tested and works well enough I will take you up on that offer.

Re: Hacking the HP45

The last thing I missed was a carrier for the new controller. I first tried to improve my old design. It does work really well, but it is may different pieces. The new design I made only had one piece. That would have been great, if it had actually worked. It is also a tolerance problem, but for now...

Re: Hacking the HP45

Mistakes were made in the BOM. I repaired what I could. Main changes: 1. is now 2.2k. There are now 5 2.2k resistors instead of 4. IC8 was the HCF 4081. It is now renamed so it is correct. IC5-7 were long and tedious numbers. They are now what they really are. HCF4017. As for the 4081 and the 4017. ...

Re: Hacking the HP45

Because this circuit is now in the hands of more people, I have been asked to give the lists. Because I cannot work on this for a little while longer, I have made these lists. This includes a component list and a schematic. I tried my best to check for errors, but I cannot give any guarantees until ...

Re: The T60 power armor

Keen observers may have noticed that I have not added much to this site and to this forum for the past months. Short story long, I don't feel 100%. I am slowly starting to feel better, so lets hope that the trend continues. I restarted work on things that are simple for me, and the simplest open pro...

Re: Hacking the Xaar 128 printhead

That document and code is an absolute goldmine. The manual alone describes the full operation.

I can't wait to see people make stuff with the head using your data. I know I want to design with it.

Re: CN642A again

That is all right, the old forum is still accessible because it is not copied to here. The biggest issue for me is that I knew more about the HP45 then the CN642A. If I could get the 642 to work properly I would chose it in a heartbeat over the 45. It is 5 color and more accurate and durable (and ha...
