Re: Hacking the HP45
I bought a jet printer from the HSA company that works with the FPGA board and is used to print matrix barcodes on the product box. But even the original HP 45 cartridges do not work and only work with the same cartridges. Voltage and firing can be the cause of this monopoly or, in my opinion, strange to me....

Re: Hacking the HP45
Hello,
I myself have little experience with identifying printheads. I do know there are subtle differences between several variations of printhead, one of them the HP45, and expect that there is something in the background that allows you to identify heads. I however have no facts on this.
What problems do you get when you try to print with anything other than HSA heads. Have you confirmed that it works with an original head?

Re: Hacking the HP45
The cartridge you are using from HSA has Smart Chip or Not ???
referent Voltage and firing
Each ink type uses a Different Voltage e Fire pulse.
Example:
Water based : Voltage 11.5 Fire Pulse 2.2 Solvent Base : Voltage 8.7 Fire Pulse 2.0
If you place the solvent-based cartridge with Water-based setting you burn the cartridge.
Water-based cartridge with the Solvent-based setting will not burn the cartridge, ink will not even come out because the voltage is low.

Re: Hacking the HP45
Based on the powerful data processing capability of S3C2440 core board and the good performance of WinCE operating system in the capability that the system can be transplanted, cut and has a good real-time performance, a control system of high resolution inkjet printer has been designed. With analyzing the hardware platform of high resolution inkjet printer, this paper has mainly studied the transplant of BSP and the customization of inkjet printer operating system under WinCE. And the framework and development process of BootLoader, OAL, device driver, and configuration file structure has been also discussed. The principle of code reuse is used to simplify the development of BootLoader, OAL. At the same time, a driver of nozzle has been developed. Experiments show that self-customized WinCE operating system can run stably on the hardware platform of inkjet printer, and makes the inkjet printer realize the printing function.

@inkjet Can you stop spamming random article abstracts? It's not super helpful imho and I'd put it firmly in the spam category.
