Show off the great Turret you made here. Got it to open and close, got it to sense whether it has fallen, got it to fire actual bullets (either just the tip or the entire bullet)? Share it here.

Hiya,
I am thinking of starting this project and am wondering whether you have non split stl's/files of the turret, i have a 300x300x400mm print area and im guessing this may be large enough to print some of the split pieces as a whole instead of parts to later attach together.
Thanks,

The splitting of the file is for 2 reasons. The first is as you pointed out for print size, a limit most people have, but you do not. The second is for printing orientation. I by my own rule make almost every part possible support free. Splitting was necessary to achieve both the reasons. There are also things that would not fit without splitting the parts.

Short answer, sadly, is no. I do not have the files unsplit.

Alright, thanks anway :D
Did you end up/will you ever finish making the full opening/closing turret?
That thing was looking awesome and i would love to make a similar one myself, but lack the skills
to model the parts or manage the electronics.

The BIG turret is the first thing on the list after I finish my 3D printer. I do want it done, but the printer has more priority. It will be awesome when it is done though.
