Pip-Boy 3000 Mk IV
Got the Fallout 4 version of the Pip-Boy printed. Got it with an actual geiger counter, or have it playing games (or just show a neatly painted version). Share it here.

Looks neat.
I did leave space to add leds to the Geiger and Radio dial, but sadly did not have the time to make them light up myself.
I hope support was not too much of a problem?

not at all, those that were necessary were pretty easy to remove, and the pieces cleaned up nicely. I did use a bit of contour putty on the front areas, which worked well in smoothing them out without a ton of sanding. Most difficult thing? getting the tape mechanism to work smoothly--I used a couple of tension springs that I had in a cheap spring kit and sanded a fair bit.
Its a beautiful kit and a huge undertaking, dragonator! thank you so much for your contribution to the community!

I am impressed. It looks amazing. I like where you hid the light switch. Behind the tape deck seems to be a better place than where I stuffed it myself. What did you use as a border for your phone. It looks like it is part of the Pip-by itself. I assume that you used a Pip-Boy app?

Thanks! I couldn't have done it without you! But I used the step files you provided and made a bezel that fit perfectly on the inside of the screen area and that matched where the android app would line up, 3d printed it and glued it in place. I also have a vinyl plotter at work, so I had the pipboy logo printed out as well and placed that over the bezel. As for the app, I found this guy who had put together a pipboy app that requires you to extract your own data files from the game installed on a computer. It worked amazing! I'll post some more pictures of the insides and a link to the app when I have some more time today. Thanks again!

here are some pictures of the bezel and the phone I used on the inside. hot glued the phone and bezel together, and hot glued the battery and switch in place. Hot glue is my best friend when im in a rush! i wanted to have this ready for halloween, so i didnt have time to make it all look pretty on the inside:P
